This women’s Seiko 5 self-winding watch was purchased as a gift. It is well made and looks classy. But unfortunately, it has trouble holding a charge for more than a day, if not worn continuously. I have owned a men’s Seiko Kinetic since 2002 and have never had it stop or lose time, even after not being worn for several days. I suspect that the smaller self-winding mechanism in the women’s model just doesn’t have the same capacity. In addition, the day/date display is extremely small, making it almost unreadable without the aid of a magnifying glass.
