Dont get me wrong I like this watch and its got a massive 52 mm case. My only problem is that its not swiss made like the watch in the picture , insted it says swiss movt. which means the movt is swiss but it was made in China and not subjected to the superior quality control standards of the Swiss. So anyways I checked the model numbers just to make sure It was the same watch and it was but I suspect the watch in the picture is a older version but since then Invicta has cheaped out and started making them in China to save money , but the retail asking price is the same $ 575.00 which seems kind of shady to me.
Since my original review amazon has corrected and updated their pictures to say ” swiss movt ” insted.

I purchased this watch as addition to my collection of affordable watches that I don’t just store in box but also can wear.
This watch is large at 52mm but it is not uncomfortable on wrist. The weight is amazing for its size. The numbers and hands are very bright at night and can be clearly seen.
The rubber bracelet is very comfortable and not irritating skin. However, it is unusual short for the watch this size. I have wear it on the third hole from the end. But it’s not a problem (at least from me) but some people with larger hands might not be able to fit this watch.
The price is also right in a spot for quart movement swiss made watch. If you can see my previous reviews, I always like quartz watches (though recently I purchased few mechanical watches). I am “time-accuracy freak” so having perfect time is must for me and this watch keeps perfect time.
The only thing that this watch is missing is a second hand. But because I am not wearing this watch at time when seconds play much difference, I am ok with it as well.
I am highly recommending this watch to men with medium to large size arm/wrist. Men with small hand may find this watch too heavy and too large.

If you are looking for a nice, somewhat dressy looking diver’s watch, this might fit your needs. While the yellow or orange are certainly showy, this one is just casual enough but does not look as if you just came out of the water. I have been wearing mine for three days now and am really enjoying it. It is a large watch but is not uncomfortable. You will certanly have no trouble seeing the time during the day or night (nor will anyone else that is sitting around you). It is holding good time and I assume that it will continue to do so. If you are looking for a nice price on a big diver, take a closer look at this watch.

Just received my Russian Diver from UPS. This watch is big, black, and beautiful. Nice presentation and boxing as usual. Not my first Invicta. However, when I unscrewed the safety cap and pulled out the crown to set the time, the crown came out and into my hand, broken. Will return and re-order to try again as Amazon is AAA+ when returns are needed. Will check back when I get the replacement.

Coming out of the box, the Quinotaur #4338 from Invicta’s Russian Diver line leaves quite an impression. With its canteen cap styling, 52mm (a little over 2″) stainless steel casing, and large face, this watch impressively makes a statement. This lineup closely resembles a couple of watches I own from a much older watch company called Tauchmeister of Germany.
Besides the size, the number one thing that sold me on this watch is its luminous features. A nice green glow highlights the hands, outer ring and numbers. Even the Russian Diver logo, company tag and date box are illuminated. The large numbers definitely stand out. Obviously missing is the second hand.
Encased in this stealthy timepiece is Swiss movement. The side edging offers a nice refined finish. Sadly, the designers totally missed the boat on the black rubber strap. The strap’s eye catching roller/barrel inserts are a nice addition but don’t make up for the short length. Cosmetically marketed as a diver’s watch, I’m sure that serious divers already know better.
The Invicta Quinotaur Russian Divers Watch come nicely packaged and includes a one year manufacturer’s warranty, a five year extended warranty application and product ID card. Florida based Invicta sports a very upscale website with customer support numbers and email links. A repair pricing chart and shipping charges are also posted. The shipping charges are eye opening to say the least.
Don’t hold your breath when trying to reach Invicta customer service via the toll free telephone number or email. On various tries via telephone the operator answers and transfers me over to customer service. With wait times anywhere between 10 and 15 minutes I got nothing. No music, no nada. Just clicking and dead air. Its now been over three weeks waiting for a reply to my inquiry via email. That said, its a given that customer service is not a big priority with this company.
Undoubtedly, the Invicta Quinotaur brings it home nicely. Even without the second hand I’m quite impressed with this watch. Unfortunately the strap drops the overall rating of this gem. The folks at Invicta lose major style points for zero customer service. With that in mind, its a given that I will not be purchasing or recommending Invicta products.
