This is one of the best designed watches around – unfortunately neither the amazon pic nor the pics provided by hamilton’s homepage do any justice to the watch’s beauty. Not too small, not too large, very nicely detailed dial – with a more out-and-about feel if you keep the original, heavy duty brown strap, rather more elegant without being pretentious if switch to a black one. Quartz works well, esp. if you are connoisseur of design, maybe have other automatic watches already and sometimes feel you should give “new” technology a chance. Despite being a quartz it has the countenance of something beyond cold accuracy. Buy it.

The Hamilton Khaki Aviation Chronograph comes in either a silver dial with black minute, second, and 10th of second, dials or reversed with black dial and silver sub dials (pictured). The craftmanship is beautiful and the watch is very comfortable to wear. The leather strap is actually attached with a metal clasp bearing the Hamilton name, very similar to fasten and undo as many metal bands. It keeps perfect time and date. I love the style and this is my second Hamilton Khaki watch. The first I bought 17 years ago and still works perfectly. Hamilton is famous for supplying servicemen with time pieces during World War II.
