This is a pretty watch, and looks exactly like the picture. I like that it has the lines marking each number, so it makes it easier to tell the time at a quick glance. The catch on the band is clever – you press these two small levers on each side of the catch to release it, which makes it really easy for fingers to open it, yet keeps it securely closed. I was a little skeptical at first about the eco-friendly solar power, but actually, a little light goes a long way, so unless you have it buried in a drawer for weeks, you won’t need to do anything special to keep it running. The watch face is small, and it’s slim overall, not bulky. This was a gift for my mother and she has larger wrists, so the band was the right size. If you have smaller wrists, you will likely need to remove some of the links for it to fit properly. It’s quite lovely, and the solar power thing is very cool.
